Did you know that February is Black History Month? In honor of this, the 5th grade librarians made an exhibit on the bookshelves downstairs to educate people about black history.

The eighth grade of the NEMJDS goes to CARES every other Wednesday. CARES is a program run by CJFS that serves families affected by memory or movement disorders such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, or stroke.

Minds churn as children wonder about how the government can connect to everyday life. The N.E. Miles Jewish Day School is very proud of the values that they try to teach their students. The values include honor and respect for others, academic excellence, social justice, and a community of kindness. These values have helped many classes through experiences and lessons of their own.
