Elementary Teacher- General Studies

Who You Are:

    What You'll Do:

  • Develop and facilitate curriculum for all students in your class, using qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategies for flexible engagement with student mastery.

  • Research, develop, and deliver engaging and rigorous differentiated lessons, homework, and projects that align to relevant standards to push student mastery on the CCSS.

  • Deliver high-quality instruction that propels student achievement, and work with our specialists to grow as a classroom leader.

  • Utilize innovative learning best practices, using strategies such as flipped classrooms, blended learning, Project Based Learning (PBL) and Inquiry Based Learning.

  • Uphold a strong culture rooted in school values such as Tikkun Olam (helping to repair the world) and Menschlichkeit (care about others, behaving in a respectful manner and do so with a loving heart)

  • Dynamically engage students in multiple forms—including full group, centers, and intervention groups.

    Hebrew/Judaic Studies Teacher

    Who You Are:

  • Fluent in Hebrew

  • Cultural or academic experience with Judaic Studies

    What You'll Do:

  • Research, develop, and deliver engaging and rigorous lessons, homework, and projects primarily using the Tal Am Curriculum

  • Support the Kindergarten teacher in daily classroom instruction.

  • Accompany and work with students during “specials” daily.

  • Dynamically engage students in multiple forms—including full group, centers, and intervention groups.

  • Learn and support school technology in the classroom.

  • Assist the Kindergarten teacher in planning and executing lessons.

  • Support classroom management strategies.

    Part-Time Aftercare Coordinator

    Who You Are:

  • An organized and reliable professional, who enjoys working informally with kids.

  • An excellent relationship builder with K-8 students.

  • A creative and fun personality to create an exciting set of after-care experiences for our students.

    What You'll Do:

  • Design the aftercare schedule and activities for K-8 students.

  • Work and engage with students from 3:30-6pm Monday-Thursday, and 2:30 -6pm on Friday.

  • Communicate with parents about the needs of individual children during the aftercare time.

    Part-Time Afternoon Receptionist

    Who You Are:

  • A detail-oriented professional comfortable with office environments.

  • A friendly personality, happy to act as a school ambassador to parents, students, teachers, and visitors.

  • A flexible employee able to navigate basic forms of technology

    What You'll Do:

  • Answer phones in a pleasant, informed matter for the purposes of providing quality information and promoting a good school image.

  • Greet and provide school access to students, parents, teachers, and visitors from 3-6pm Monday-Thursday, and 2-5pm on Friday.

  • Take messages for administrators, faculty and staff.

  • Perform basic clerical tasks, such as word processing, mailings, email, and copying
